Chiang Mai Design Week announces its 11th edition, continuing its role as Northern Thailand’s leading platform for creative exchange and cultural innovation. Over the past decade, the festival has helped transform Chiang Mai and the wider Northern region beyond tourism toward a new vision: ‘Crafting Wellness from Local Essence, Inspiring Asia.’ The initiative has generated ฿5.7 billion in value and welcomed over 1.2 million participants, affirming its impact on the global stage.

As it enters its 11th year, the festival expands its mission to build a forward-looking creative ecosystem that propels Local Roots to Global Reach across wellness, craft, design, and music. Under its new direction, Local Plus, Chiang Mai Design Week strengthens networks across Northern Thailand, opens pathways for international collaboration, and supports the long-term growth of local creative industries, while deepening the cultural foundations that continue to inspire audiences worldwide.
