Design Pataki is thrilled to unveil the third edition of DP Debut, an exciting design competition that celebrates the prowess of India’s emerging creatives. In collaboration with Design Democracy and Artyk, it aims to amplify fresh voices in design and give a platform to burgeoning talent. With a spotlight on ingenuity, material sensitivity, and visionary thinking, DP Debut invites the country’s most promising minds to claim their space in the design spotlight. 

Building on the momentum of our ever-evolving digital universe, Design Pataki invites you to step into the spotlight by sharing your most compelling work with the world. Tag us on social media to share your creative vision and capture the attention of India’s design vanguard. Shortlisted entries in each category will be meticulously evaluated by a distinguished jury featuring some of India’s most revered and influential figures in design and architecture, whose discerning eyes continue to shape the country’s creative landscape. The top ten finalists will be hosted in Hyderabad for an iconic showcase at Design Democracy on September 5th, 2025, where they will unveil their work before an audience of design tastemakers, cultural connoisseurs, and an esteemed jury. Beyond the stage, the winners will be featured in an exclusive feature on Design Pataki’s website, with extended visibility across our social media channels. The submissions close at 11:59 PM IST on August 22nd, 2025.

Step 1: Screenshot the final graphic in the carousel or download the image below

Step 2: Post it on your public Instagram profile, followed by 5 images of your finest works per chosen category, with brief captions describing your submissions

Step 3: Tag and follow @designpataki and @designdemocracy.in and use the hashtag #DPDebut

Terms And Conditions –

The competition is exclusively open to participants residing in India.

If selected as a winner, you would need to be available to fly down to Hyderabad on the 5th of September, 2025, for the DP Debut Awards.

Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification

Renders are not accepted.

Please accompany your submission with appropriate photography, styling, and space credits to ensure all creative contributions.

Shernavaz Bharucha is a doyenne of Indian interior design, revered for her timeless designs, spatial intuition, and a refined aesthetic that gracefully bridges heritage and contemporary design.

 

 

Tania Khosla Singh is a visionary force behind TSK Design, whose context-driven, culturally nuanced work has shaped the evolution of India’s contemporary design landscape.
